    This design provides extension to the PIP and a mild extension effect to the MCP. Leaves the DIP completely free. The pressure is attributed by the dorsal pad. The spring can be adjusted individually. The force is approx. 2.3N in 15 degrees of flexion.     The mallet finger splints are used to protect the distal phlaanx and extend the DIP joint.

    To determine the correct size - measure the circumference of the finger At DIP joint:

    • X/Small 1 3/4 - 2" (4.5-5cm)
    • Small 2-2 1/4"(5-5.5cm)
    • Medium 2 1/4-2 1/2" (6-6.5cm)
    • Large 2 3/4-3"(7-7.5cm)
    • X/Large 3 1/4-3 3/8" (8-8.5cm)

    The 504 extension spring PIP short finger splint is a shorter version of the model 501. The 504 splint doesnot invlove the MCP joint. The smaller sizes can be used for the DIP joint. The spring can easily be adjusted. The force is approx. 2.3N in 15 degrees of flexion.

  • Oval 8 Finger Splint

    Oval 8 finger rings stabilises, relieves and corrects the fingers IP-joint for a better hand functionality. Used to rectify Swan Neck deformity, Boutonniere, Mallet finger, Lateral deviation and Trigger finger. The Oval 8 is manufactured of 1.6 mm polypropylene plastic. It is dirt repelling and comfortable to wear in all temperatures. The Oval 8 finger rings comes in standard ring sizes and are supplied individually. The angle of the orthosis is easily adjusted with a heat gun - this should only be practiced by a medical professional. 

    A unique feature of the Oval 8 finger splint is that ther are two sizes within the same ring. The Oval 8 ring is designed with a slight angle making one end a little longer allowing for a half size larger. For example, size 6 ring fits both size 6 and 6,5 depending on which end is applied on the finger first.
