Strengthen Your Pelvic Floor Muscles with Kegel Weights

Your pelvic floor is a powerful set of muscles that play an important role in core stability, bladder control and intimate wellbeing. Pelvic floor problems, including incontinence, prolapse and pelvic pain. Exercising your pelvic floor muscles should be a part of your daily fitness routine, no matter your age. But, did you know that you can make Kegels easier with a Kegel exerciser? Pelvic floor exercise, or Kegels, are recommended globally by experts to prevent or treat pelvic floor problems. The problem is the muscles are hidden so they are difficult to exercise correctly as you have no indication you are doing the right thing.

Kegeling in the 21st century means that you can use clinically-proven technology to enhance the effectiveness of your pelvic floor exercise – allowing you to quickly achieve all the benefits that come with having a strong and healthy pelvic floor, such as:

  • Control over your bladder and bowel
  • Strong support of your pelvic organs including your uterus
  • Heightened intimacy, sensation and even orgasms
  • A speedy recovery from pregnancy and childbirth

Kegelflex Pelvic floor exercise weights are also known as vaginal cones, they are a medically approved KEGEL Exercise System, consisting of weighted kegel cones. Kegelflex Vaginal Cones are designed to help those suffering from Stress Incontinence to strengthen their pelvic floor muscles. Kegel weights enhance your performance by giving your muscles an object to contract around, so you can literally feel the weight being squeezed and lifted if you’re doing it correctly. They also provide weight resistance training, meaning you will strengthen and tone faster. Complete with 15 training levels, you can gradually increase the weight as your pelvic floor strengthens and with the two different sized strengthen cores this ensures you can Kegel comfortably.

How do I use the Kegelflex Weighted Vaginal Cones System?

  • Get ready: Empty your bladder and ensure the weights are clean before use.
  • Pick your weight: Begin with the lightest weight available. Insert the weight and try standing, walking, and even coughing without lying down; if the weight stays in place, try the next heaviest weight. Choose the heaviest one you can hold in place for a few minutes.
  • Work your pelvic floor: Gradually increase the amount of time the vaginal weight is in place, up to a maximum of 15 minutes, twice a day. You can walk and move around, but you should remain standing rather than sitting or lying down for the best effect.
  • When to move up to the next weight: Once you can keep the weight comfortably inserted for 15 minutes at a time, try the next heavier weight.

If it’s hard to hold the Kegel weight in place, drop down to a lower weight and practice with it for a few more days. Just like any other muscle in your body, your pelvic floor can become fatigued. This may make you a little sore. If you are really sore, give your body a break for a day or two and then try again. It’s extremely important to keep your Kegel weights clean. Make sure to wash and dry them before and after you use them every time. Store them in a clean, dry, safe place, and inspect them before each use.
